Earlier this year Michele and Greg Mistler participated in the creation of the book “Always in our Thoughts, Forever in Our Hearts”.
This book was created to help those who have experienced the grief of losing a child find solace, peace and comfort, and also to provide help |
to the family and of those who have lost a child. Members of Ryle High School’s Future Business Leaders of America helped in compiling this book. Free copies of this book are available.

Supporting Emerging
Artists
The Andrew Mistler Foundation was founded to support a
Visual Art Scholarship Fund
in memory
of Andrew Mistler. Our mission is to provide scholarship opportunities to young artists, and support community services and programs dedicated to the health and education of young adults.
|
To date, the Andrew Mistler Foundation has been able to award 9 scholarships, purchase equipment (including matting equipment, photography equipment, pottery equipment, and in 2010, a Smart Board) for the Art Department at Dixie Heights High School. We have also sponsored awards for the annual State Art Competition, and provided funds for special art projects at Dixie Heights.
Donations have also been made to the Dixie Heights High School Golf Team, The Dennis Trenkamp Medical Fund, and The Children’s Home of Northern Kentucky. We also donated funds to cover expenses for 2 art teachers from Dixie to attend a state art teachers conference and St. Joseph Elementary School Computer Department.
