ART SHOW
Dixie Heights High School held its annual Art Show on May 21, 2009. Senior art students showcased their portfolios, with each offering pieces available for purchase by silent auction.
Pictured here are the 2009 recipients of the Andrew Mistler Memorial Visual Art Scholarships, Dana Amundsen and Joanna Thompson, who both will be majoring in art at the University of Louisville.

KICK-A-THON 2009
Dominach’s Taekwondo Academy held a Kick-A-Thon on May 16. Over 30 students participated and competed to see who could complete the most kicks in 60 seconds. The top kicker, Vicky Bolger, completed 173 kicks in just one minute! Winner of the most kicks before they dropped their leg was Ben Rosenstiel with 142 kicks. And Mr. Dakota Sheriff raised the most money with $308.
We had 35 kickers, plus the other kids and family members that were there to enjoy the day. Through pledges and donations, the students raised nearly $2,700.00 for the Andrew Mistler Foundation.
